Fact :
Dreams are possible as well as hard to follow. A straight up advice from me to you is to stay close to your values, to the ones you love, encourage and support you. Never doubt yourself and when you receive a " not now" - give rejection your personal meaning because this word may come from one person but it will not come from everybody else, So never back down because of this word.
You keep working hard until you find what you need. And although the process may seem slow take one day at a time. Day by day, brick by brick because the potential that lies on your fingertips is massive when it's done with love.
